Three years later, in 1936 in the village of Brestovitza, new wine cellar called “Muscat” opened its doors. Built in accordance with all technological and classical canons, the winery was able to leave a thousand-year old tradition, combining it with modern achievements. The experienced staff, the oak barrels, the constant temperature and humidity in preservation - all these things are just a small part of the charm of the winery "Muscat". High quality of the produced wines, combined with many years of experience of Methody Hadziyankov as a tradesman turned winery "Muscat" into a preferred producer not only on the Bulgarian but also on British, Austrian and German market. In 1946, wine cellar “Muskat” has been nationalized, but continued to operate as a division of some of the most famous wine factories in Bulgaria. Pleiades of technologists from Asenovgrad, Perushtitsa and Peshtera have mastered the art of creating quality wine. Thus, the winery has been able to maintain its original appearance and function. Since 1998, wine cellar "Muscat" is owned by the company “Starho Co” and bears the symbol and the mark "Villa Vinifera". And today the specialists in “Villa Venifera” manage to recreate the atmosphere, to preserve the magnificence of taste, palette and nuances in the selection of wines and most importantly their environmental purity. |
