Mavrud from a good year, gave an opaque wine, with a dark red color with purple and brown shades and velvety luster. The aroma features cherries, blueberries and blackberries. The taste is dense, soft, with a slight tartness and balanced freshness. Harmonious long aftertaste with a slight spiciness and aromas of cherry jam, black pepper and vine twig. Suitable for Rhodope cuisine, bakery foods, white and yellow cheeses.

Late-ripening variety, with slightly higher acidity, which this year we successfully managed to blunt, i.e. the wine turned out well balanced and harmonious with a powerful ruby ​​red colour and a pleasant shine. The wine has a light grey to purple halo. The aroma is wild berries – raspberries, blackberries, wild strawberries, blueberries. The taste continues the aromatic line, is harmonious and in the background you can feel the mineral tone, characteristic of the variety – tone of soil, soil. Mavrud is another wine that requires ageing in both a bottle and a barrel.
